Handa Pharma, Inc. (“Handa”) is a specialty pharmaceutical company in the San Francisco Bay area. Our mission is to leverage our entrepreneurial spirit and technical expertise to develop and commercialize high-quality prescription medications in two complementary areas: proprietary therapeutics that address significant unmet patient needs, and high-barrier-to-entry generic drugs.

Handa’s executive and scientific leadership team has a proven track record of building effective teams, high-quality product portfolios and successful pharmaceutical businesses. We specialize in controlled-release prescription pharmaceutical products that are difficult to formulate. Our business model includes managing all aspects of the product development process through the submission of its Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDA) and 505(b)(2) New Drug Applications (NDA) to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Our parent company, Handa Pharmaceuticals, Inc., was established in Taiwan in 2014.
